Glenfiddich The Original - Inspired by 1963

A Glenfiddich release that has been inspired by the original straight malt. In 1963 the Whisky world changed forever when Sandy Grant Gordon following in the footsteps of his family decided to bottle the malt as Glenfiddich Straight Malt and actively market it beyond the UK, creating the signatory single malt we all love and enjoy today. 

Brian Kingsman reproduced the taste of the Straight Malt by expertly nosing an original sample, checking the recipe of the 1960s leather-bound ledgers, and then drawing from the Glenfiddich collection of aged whiskies to recreate the original recipe.
