Talisker Limited Edition - Eigg Heritage Trust

A Limited Edition Vatting bottling from Talisker, prepared for the Isle of Eigg Heritage Trust to mark its historic purchase of the island.

Talisker Distillery was founded by two brothers from Isle of Eigg - Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill who settled on the island in 1825. To celebrate their success and relationship with Talisker distillery, a special labelling of cask strength Talisker was prepared and donated by United Distillers and Vintners for the Islanders. Only 252 bottles were produced. They decided to share 102 bottles with their friends and offered the remaining 150 bottles to raise funds for Island Projects.
