'Rich, brooding and suggestive' - a 17 Year Old Karuizawa from the SMWS. Distilled 8th July 1996 and limited to only 346 bottles. Comes complete with presentation box.

Straight from the cask

In the late 1970s a group of friends in Edinburgh clubbed together to purchase a cask of single malt whisky. The filtered it through a muslin cloth so they could sample the whisky as the cask intended. There and then, The Scotch Malt Whisky Society was born. The same spirit of curiosity flows through the Society today.
