Ardbeg Grooves - Ardbeg Day 2018 Limited Edition (46%)

A special release of Ardbeg Grooves still has the same groovy tones as the committee the only edition which was released in March 2018, however, this Limited edition was bottled at 46% ABV as opposed to 51.6% ABV on the committee. Both were created in honour of Ardbeg Day 2018 (June 2) held during the Islay Festival of Music & Malt (Fèis Ìle)

Made using casks that have been heavily charred to produce deep grooves in the surface of the wood, this is a whisky aromatic with smoked spices, distant bonfires, vanilla popcorn and smoked pear.
