Waterford Single Farm Origin - Ratheadon Edition 1.1 & 1.2 (70cl x2)

Ratheadon 1.1 derives from the farms' inaugural barley harvest exclusively using Irina barley grown by father and son Stephen & Andrew McDonnell on their Ratheadon farm farm in Co. Carlow. After distillation, the whisky is matured in a combination of French and American oak, and then bottled at 50% ABV with no chill-filtration or additional colouring. A total of 2,000 bottles produced, but due to the demand in Ireland, they released 1,400 of the 2,000 released just to the Irish market.
 
Ratheadon 1.2,like the 1.1, is an Irish exlcusive. This expression has been produced using early-sown barley which was grown by father & son Stephen and Andrew McDonnell on the Ratheadon farm in Carlow. It is a unique terrioir which a fertile flood plain on the River Barrow. It has been matured in American & French oak before being bottled at 50% abv. free from chill filtration or colouring. limited to 10,000 bottles.
