Jura 1976 - Feith A' Chaorainn

A vintage bottling from Jura, distilled in 1976 and matured in three ex-bourbon barrels which were married together and bottled in 2011. It's Gaelic name, Feith A' Chaorainn meaning 'The lands around the Rowan Tree'.

The Isle of Jura is famed for its strong superstitions and mystical legends including The Rowan Tree can bring good fortune to islanders, sprigs of the rowan are placed over doorways to ward off lightning, carried on boats to keep away storms and are even fixed to cattle sheds to protect livestock.

Not only is this a beautiful collectable bottle but if the islands superstitions are correct, it may just bring some good luck your way too...
