Ardbeg Grooves - Ardbeg Day 2018 Limited Edition (46%)

A special release of Ardbeg Grooves, still has the same groovy tones as the committee only edition which was released in March 2018, however, this Limited edition was bottled at 46% ABV as opposed to 51.6% ABV on the committee. Both were created in honour of Ardbeg Day 2018 (June 2) held during the Islay Festival of Music & Malt (Fèis Ìle)

Made using casks that have been heavily charred to produce deep grooves in the surface of the wood, this is a whisky aromatic with smoked spices, distant bonfires, vanilla popcorn and smoked pear.
