Macallan Cask 888

The Macallan’s Cask 888 debuted in Hong Kong at the Lalique Lounge to fanfare befitting its status as a limited edition single cask and single malt whisky. One of only 720 cask 888 bottles released worldwide, 24 were made available in Hong Kong. For its part, Lalique displayed its latest collection, Le Noir Crystal especially for the launch of Cask 888.

Cask 888 is blessed by a highly fortuitous name and also by a limited edition decanter handcrafted in cosmetic glass by Stolzle Flaconnag. The whisky was bottled from an Oloroso Sherry seasoned European Oak cask and bottled on 08/08/08. The display case holds the decanter, two whisky tumblers and a certificate of authenticity. “This is a unique and exciting release and we are certain that Macallan drinkers will enjoy its relevance and rarity”, said Ken Grier, Director of malts, The Macallan Group.
