Compass Box Tobias & The Angel

A 2019 release from The Compass Box, a blend of Clynelish (50.9%) and Caol Ila (49.1%) which were bottled January 2019 at a natural 47.6% abv.

You cannot help but notice the beautiful artwork which adorns the bottle and the inside of the presentation box. Tobias and the Angel is a 15th-century work that was the product of the Florentine studio of Verrocchio, of which a young Leonardo da Vinci was a member.

The painting is based on an ancient story about a young man named Tobias sent on a journey to collect a debt for his father, and Raphael, an angel who helps Tobias in a variety of mystical ways.
