Cadenhead's Islay Blended Whisky

If you’ve had the fortune to visit a Cadenhead’s shop in the UK then you’ll have seen the living casks they have on offer covering the different regions of Scottish whisky. These are often hidden gems offering great whiskies at a fantastic price and a variety of bottle sizes.

Now and again these casks offer something well worth experiencing. This is particularly true of this bottling and the other Campbeltown blended melt we’re offering at auction this month. Normally the origins of these bottlings are not advertised however the store manager at the time of purchase confirmed that this was a blended malt of 2 distilleries; namely Caol Ila and Lagavulin. The predominant whisky in this blend is Lagavulin and its 7 years old. Bottled at 58.3% cask strength this taste of Islay gives you plenty of bang for your buck!
