Bruichladdich Port Charlotte - PC8 Ar Duthchas

Ar dúthchas - pays homage to those who came before us on the Rhinns of Islay - distant forefathers who made their mark on the land and the soul of this magical place: “Here on the remote Rhinns of Islay we are constantly reminded of the heritage of our forefathers – the evidence of their culture and beliefs, their endurance and skills still shine through clearly to those who care to look more closely.”

This Port Charlotte Islay Single Malt whisky has been produced at Bruichladdich distillery by Master Distiller Jim McEwan in homage to the exceptional Single Malt produced in the village of Port Charlotte until 1929. Heavily peated and unmistakably Islay, this full strength bottling is the 4th distillery bottling release of this progressive Single malt release.

Aged 8 years in oak casks, bottled in 2009.
