Blended 47 Years Old 1960 - 2008 The Last Drop

Another installment from The Last Drop Distillers Limited. The youngest whiskies in this blend were distilled in 1960 - many are even older. They came from distilleries, many of which have long since closed or even been demolished. All were aged for twelve long years before being decanted into sherry wood and hidden away in an old dunnage warehouse at Auchentoshan distillery until this year. There the blend lay until 2008, when it was bottled by hand, free from filtration, dilution, or colouring. There were only 1,347 bottles.
