Balvenie 17 Years Old - New Wood

At the Balvenie distillery Malt Master David Stewart has selected and aged Balvenie for further maturation in New Wood: casks coopered from Quercus Alba (American white oak); toasted and then charred to create a rich and honeyed Speyside malt with a delicate hint of spice and oak.

The Balvenie New Wood is a limited release made from one single batch of casks; 79 in total never to be repeated.
