Karuizawa 32 Years Old 1980 - Noh Single Sherry Butt No.3565
A famous 'Noh' bottling of Karuizawa featuring traditional Japanese theatre costumes on the label. This 1980 vintage whisky has been aged in a single sherry butt (#3565) for 32 years and bottled at a fantastic 59.2% vol.
Noh is one of Japan's oldest performing arts, dating back to the 14th century. These traditions are kept alive today by such groups as Kamiasobi, a group founded in 1997 by five young men whose families have been involved in Noh theatre for hundreds of years.
