Glencraig 1975 - 2009 - G&M Rare Old

Distilled at Glenburgie Distillery in 1975, this whisky is a result of distillation in a special Lomond still, originally made to satisfy blenders demands for more diverse and different whisky characters.

Cleaning the Lomond stills was very labour intensive, and due to a lack of demand for whisky produced this way, this method of distillation was abandoned, along with it the 'Glencraig' name -s o called after the then director Willie Craig.

A very Rare Old Whisky bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. Distilled in 1975 then bottled in 2009.
