Waterford Single Farm Origin - Rathedon, Ballykilcavan & Bannow Island Edition 1.1 (70 cl x3)

The 1st three bottlings of the Waterford Single Farm Origin series, are from three farms and their inaugral barley harvest specifically for the Waterford Distillery:

  • Ballykilcavan 1.1: made exclusively using Taberna barley grown by David Walsh-Kemmis on his Ballykilcavan farm in Co. Laois. After distillation, the whisky is matured in a combination of French and American oak, and then bottled at 50% ABV with no chill-filtration or additional colouring.

  • Bannow Island 1.1: distilled using a single vintage of Overture barley grown on the south coast of Co. Wexford by Ed Harpur on his Bannow Island farm.  The spirit was aged in a combo of French and American oak casks, and bottled at 50% ABV with no chill-filtration or additional colouring.

  • Ratheadon 1.1: made exclusively using Irina barley grown by father and son Stephen & Andrew McDonnell on their Ratheadon farm farm in Co. Carlow. After distillation, the whisky is matured in a combination of French and American oak, and then bottled at 50% ABV with no chill-filtration or additional colouring. A total of 2,000 bottles produced, but due to the demand in Ireland, they released 1,400 of the 2,000 released just to the Irish market.
