Amrut 10 Years Old - Greedy Angels Chairman's Reserve
Perhaps the first ever 10-year-old single malt to come out of India, Amrut Greedy Angels Chairman's Reserve, is a rare and special bottling to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Amrut Single Malt Whisky in the global market. Bottled September 2014.
Due to the high heat and humidity in India, Maturation is that little bit more difficult. In Scotland our "Angel Share" would be 1 - 2% were as in India it would be closer to 10 - 12%. As you can imagine after 10 years of maturation there would not be a great deal of whisky left for bottling, Only 284 bottles produced making these very rare.
This lot comes with an accompanying 5cl Miniature which was bottled with the strength as drawn from the barrel, up from the full-strength of 62.8%.
