The Massandra Collection
Lot #0260370
FINISH DATE
31 January 2016
Massandra is rare port from Crimea. It was sold as part of the Massandra Collection. Tsar Nicholas II founded the Massandra Winery in 1894, on the outskirts of Yalta.

This is the 1938 Ayu-Dag Cahors

We believe this Massandra port has been cellared at Massandra up until was first offered as part of the 1991 Sotheby's Massandra collection sale. The bottles are stored unlabelled at the winery but were labelled with 'Sotheby's Massandra collection 1938 in 1991 as part of the sale.
