• How much will delivery cost?

  It depends on where the parcel is going and what it weighs. Use the shipping estimator above for your destination, or open the full rate table to see every weight band. Rates are quoted excluding VAT; UK deliveries are charged VAT at 20%.
• Can you store my bottles?

  Yes. Storage is free for the first 45 days from the moment you pay. After that you can buy storage in blocks of 3, 6 or 12 months. You can see everything you hold from your account area, with what you paid and an estimate of what it might make at auction.
• Is my whisky insured in transit?

  Insurance is optional and is selected at checkout. It costs 3% of your order plus VAT and protects against loss and breakage on the way to you. Leakage, and damage to seals in transit, cannot be claimed for. Uninsured parcels are sent at your own risk.
• Who pays customs duties and import taxes?

  You do. Any duties, taxes or import charges applied once a parcel leaves us are the buyer's responsibility, and it is worth checking your own country's rules before you bid. We cannot be held responsible for delays or seizures by customs or other third parties.
• How long does dispatch take?

  In most cases parcels are dispatched within a week of your payment reaching us, and are sent with reputable couriers. We send you a link to track the parcel online once it has shipped. Dispatch can take longer immediately after a busy auction.
• Are there countries you cannot ship alcohol to?

  We ship to over 60 countries, but there are some we simply cannot reach. Check yours in the estimator above — if it is not listed, get in touch and we will look into a special arrangement.
• Can I combine bottles from different auctions?

  Yes. Anything you have in storage with us can be combined with your most recent order at the checkout page, so you only pay to ship once. We group items into one parcel wherever we can, though a large order may still arrive in more than one box.
• What happens if my parcel is damaged?

  Tell us as soon as you can. If the order was insured we will make a claim, and to do that we need the bottle back — the neck must be returned to us with the seal, stopper or screw cap still in place. Without insurance we are unable to cover breakage or loss.
