Port Charlotte 10 Years Old 2008

Bruichladdich distillery introduced Port Charlotte, a heavily peated single malt, after it was acquired by Murray McDavid in 2001. The brand is named after a historic distillery in the neighbouring town. Formerly known for its un-peated single malt to meet the needs of its previous owners for their blends, Murray McDavid wasted no time in expanding the Bruichladdich portfolio by also introducing the even peatier Lochindaal and Octomore. Exclusive to Octomore Farm, which is located just behind the distillery, this private cask was distilled in November 2008 and bottled in November 2019 a bourbon barrel.
