Hardin's Creek 17 Years Old

James B.Beam Distilling Co release the Kentucky Series in 2023, which is one of the most ambitious terroir experiments in American bourbon history. All three expressions in this series share the same mash bill (77% Corn, 13% Rye, 10% Malted Barley), were laid down within 24 hours of each other, and aged for exactly 17 years (204 months) — the only variable being where in Kentucky the barrels rested. This is the Frankfort release. Located on the banks of Elkhorn Creek and home to Beam's oldest warehouses dating back to 1914, is used exclusively for aging — its humid, low-ventilation environment allowing the spirit to develop slowly on its own terms.
