Bruichladdich 10 Years Old 'Old Skool'

To mark their 25th anniversary in 2026, Bruichladdich are releasing a limited series of commemorative bottlings — and the first of these is the 'Old Skool' 10 Year Old Islay Barley Single Malt. A fitting tribute to the distillery's remarkable revival, this expression is crafted from 100% Islay Barley sourced from 14 local growers — each of whom is named and mapped on the back label. It's a heartfelt nod to Bruichladdich's long-standing championing of terroir in whisky production, and a celebration of the farming community whose contribution has been central to the distillery's success over the past quarter century. Matured in a combination of 1st Fill Bourbon and 1st Fill Sauternes casks, 'Old Skool' delivers a characteristically creamy and fruity dram — elegant, approachable, and full of character. The label itself is a deliberate piece of nostalgia, styled after the iconic Bruichladdich bottles of the 1980s and 1990s — the era before the distillery was mothballed in 1994.
