Bowmore 34 Years Old

Bowmore has unveiled the Dragon's Prey, created in partnership with celebrated graphic artist Frank Quitely as part of the distinctive Frank Quitely Series — a collection inspired by the rich folklore of Islay. The fourth release in the series, “Dragon’s Prey,” is a striking 34-year-old single malt Scotch whisky. This expression draws inspiration from the legendary tale of the noble warrior Godrid Croven, who bravely confronted a fearsome dragon that terrorised the island of Islay. This exceptional whisky has been matured in five different cask styles, including Barbados rum casks and American oak casks finished with white port, alongside three separate Oloroso sherry cask finishes, creating remarkable depth and complexity. Presented in an elegant briefcase-style display box, the release also includes a limited-edition, individually numbered print of “Dragon’s Prey,” personally signed by Frank Quitely. Only 700 bottles and matching prints have been produced, making this a rare release.
