Yamazakura 15 Years Old

Sherry Wood Finish Cask Strength
Lot #0280959
FINISH DATE
31 March 2016
Yamazakura 15 Year Old Pure Malt Japanese Whisky from Sasa-no-kawa Shuzo., Ltd in Fukushima, Japan. Following in the footsteps the similar Yamazakura 15 Years Old which was released in Spring 2015 after being matured in fresh bourbon and wine casks, this Pure Malt has been bottled at cask strength and has a Sherry Wood Finish.

While Yamazakura distillery closed in 1998 some of the whisky in these bottles is in fact up to 20 years old, this is due to being stored in casks for this first 15 years then moved to tanks. Finally, it was moved back into casks again to finish and create this incredible whisky.
