About this bottle
An exciting and unique release: a Single Cask Worthy Park 12-Year-Old, finished for 11 months in a Black Isle Imperial Stout cask. Bottled by the Thompson Bros in collaboration with the ever-curious minds behind the Liquid Antiquarian – whisky legend Dave Broom and Royal Mile Whiskies’ very own Arthur Motley.
This bottling was inspired by a fascinating Liquid Antiquarian episode, where Dave Broom delves into the history of stouts and porters in the Caribbean. Their exploration led them to an intriguing reference in the Innkeepers and Butlers Guide by John Davies, published in 1807 – sparking the idea behind this unique cask finish.
Only 247 bottles exist from this deliciously characterful single cask. Watch the video below to learn more about the historical deep dive that led to this one-of-a-kind rum.

Official Tasting Notes
Nose – The classic distillery character shines through with bruised banana, ripe pineapple, green mangoes and kiwi underpinned by a superb Jamaica gluey funk. This is wrapped in a toasted, creamy notes from the cask with coffee-like notes.
Palate – Bold Jamaican character with a ripe fruit bowl and a dollop of glue. The finish is toasted brown bread served with good espresso coffee.
