Premium bourbon has been crafted on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery since 1812, 63 years before Aristides won the inaugural Kentucky Derby.
Woodford Reserve teamed up Churchhill Downs to be named the official Bourbon of Kentucky Derby 136. It also sponsors a Grade 1 race, the Woodford Reserve Turf Classic, which is run on Derby Day and has become one of the Thoroughbred racing's premier events in its own right.

Bourbon is a distinctly American whiskey, traditionally made primarily from corn (at least 51%) and aged in new charred oak barrels. Known for its rich, sweet, and full-bodied flavour, it often carries notes of caramel, vanilla, and spice. By law, bourbon must be produced in the United States, though it is most famously associated with Kentucky, its historic heartland.

How can I bid on the auctions?
You’ll need an account with us to place bids in any auction. Registration takes 60 seconds and there’s a small £5.00 registration fee, payable by credit or debit card. Why does the timer extend on a lot?
In the interest of fairness, any bids placed in the final five minutes of a particular lot will extend the end time of that Lot by 15 minutes. We believe in giving our customers a fair amount of time to increase their bid should they wish. Last second sniping isn’t in the spirit of our auctions and by using this system there is no benefit to doing so.

The first step is to get your whisky to us. We can help with courier collections, or you can arrange transport yourself. Once at Just Whisky, we’ll handle photography and description of your lots and enter your whisky into our auction. We take payment, then pay you within 14 days of the auction end date.
