Wolfcraig

Established in 2020, Wolfcraig is a new entry in an increasingly long list of arrivals in Scotland. At its heart is to be carbon zero from the outset. An impressive list of names is involved in the project, with Richard ‘the nose’ Paterson taking the helm as Master Blender for Wolfcraig. Former Scotland international rugby player, Greig Laidlaw, is the first global ambassador, as the distillery looks beyond the boundaries of Scotland. Also onboard are former employees from Whyte & Mackay, John Dewar and Sons and Diageo. However, perhaps the most notable name to enthusiasts will be Ian Macmillan, who helped transform Deanston distillery in a previous role. The distillery will be located on the Craigforth Campus in Stirling and the initial project cost is £15 million.
