About this bottle
Wire Works Single Cask Whisky is back for 2023. This is only the second single cask (full strength) bottling of Wire Works Whisky since 2018. An American oak STR cask filled in 2018 with their house-style lightly-peated spirit, matured since in a warehouse on the banks of the River Derwent in Derbyshire. This unique single-cask English whisky features dark toffee and candied ginger and sultanas on the nose, smoky cereal, white pepper and liquorice on the palate and apple pie, fizzy sweets, leather with a wisp of smoke on the finish.
