All the casks selected for this release have all been through an extra process of ‘Re-charred Extra Smoke'. Over Smoke has been fully matured in these casks and bottled without chill-filtration or colouring at natural cask strength of 52.7% ABV.

Situated in the Derwent Valley Mills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the distillery occupies the former Johnson & Nephew Wire Works, honoring the region's industrial heritage while pioneering its spirits production. The distillery is best known for its Wire Works Whisky, which is Derbyshire's first single malt.
