This lot contains a delivery order dating back to 1898 from the long-lost Tullymet (Auchnagie) distillery, based in the Highlands close to Pitlochry. This small distillery was leased by the Dewar family until it couldn't keep up with demand, resulting in John Alexander Dewar commissioning the Aberfeldy distillery to be built only a couple of miles away.
