Tomintoul 27 Years Old (75cl)

Lot #1281140
FINISH DATE
31 July 2024
This Tomintoul, (Tom-in-t'owl) has been aged in selected oak casks for a minimum of 27 years to produce a mature smooth, and exceptional quality whisky. Tomintoul single malt is a tribute to the skills of Tomintoul's Master Distiller, Robert Fleming whose family has been making whisky in the Speyside Glenlivet region for four generations.
Tomintoul

A product of the 1960s whisky boom Tomintoul was founded by blenders looking for content before changing hands in 1973. Since then, it was firmly attached to the Whyte & Mackay brand, producing for their blends and unnamed single malts. Enduring the various owners until the distillery was purchased by the current owners, Angus Dundee Distillers, in 2000, who then set about launching a core range of single malts. Tomintoul has since occupied the more affordable realm of whisky and built up a core following with a wide range of age statements and debuted its peated whisky, Old Ballantruan, in 2000. Now the site acts as a major hub for Angus Dundee, with blending and single malts being catered as Tomtintoul offers more room than its sister distillery, Glencadam, for such activities.
