From The Lakes, The Whiskymaker's Editions is a series of one-off releases showcasing the sense of adventure of their whiskymaker - Dhavall Gandhi.
Andalusia is a beautiful region of Spain known for its rustic and rural countryside. It's opulent aroma-rich valleys with vibrant orange groves where the fresh tang of Seville marmalade is ever-present in the air, which has acted as the inspiration for this bottling.
The Lakes Soleado has been created to showcase the distilleries capacity to create a particularly fragrant, fruity and floral character. It has been matured exclusively in American Oak and bottled as a non-chill filtered, natural colour single malt at 46% ABV.
This edition was only available in Japan, Singapore, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, and Poland.

The Lakes Distillery, nestled in the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Lake District in Cumbria, England, represents a modern approach to whisky production with a strong artistic ethos. Founded in 2011 by Paul Currie, previously of Arran Distillers, and opened in 2014, it's located in a meticulously renovated 160-year-old farmstead on the banks of the River Derwent. This distillery is known for its focus on flavor creation, exploring the intersection of art, science, and nature in spirit production.
