The Lakes Distillery, nestled in the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Lake District in Cumbria, England, represents a modern approach to whisky production with a strong artistic ethos. Founded in 2011 by Paul Currie, previously of Arran Distillers, and opened in 2014, it's located in a meticulously renovated 160-year-old farmstead on the banks of the River Derwent.
