The Lakes The Private Reserve

This single malt distilled at The Lakes Distillery called the Private Reserve - The Connoisseurs' Edition Single Malt Collection is an important piece of whisky history, as it is bottled using some of the first single malt produced and laid down by the distillery in 2014. The collection is owned by Tom Hedley, one of the initial 12 members of the Lakes Connoisseurs' Club, who each gained ownership of a cask laid down in 2014. He has also been involved with The Lakes Distillery since its inception in 2011 because his company, Hedley McEwan (Branding and Advertising), created and designed everything the distillery produced, including all of the spirits branding and visitor experience, up until his retirement in 2018.  This single malt has been matured in a Sherry cask and only 100 bottles have been bottled June 2022.
