About this bottle
The One Cask Finished series showcases the whiskymaker's maturation expertise. Each singular release has been finished in different casks. The whisky itself is a blend of The Lakes single malt and the finest grain and malt Scotch whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay regions of Scotland. They are married together before being finished in the specific cask type for each individual release.
This release has been finished in 1st fill Oloroso and PX casks.

The Lakes Distillery, nestled in the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Lake District in Cumbria, England, represents a modern approach to whisky production with a strong artistic ethos. Founded in 2011 by Paul Currie, previously of Arran Distillers, and opened in 2014, it's located in a meticulously renovated 160-year-old farmstead on the banks of the River Derwent. This distillery is known for its focus on flavor creation, exploring the intersection of art, science, and nature in spirit production.
