Tamdhu 2003 - 125th Anniversary

In celebration of Tamdhu’s 125th anniversary, this limited-edition Single Cask expression was specially selected by the Tamdhu Dedication Society, in collaboration with Distillery Manager Sandy McIntyre. Distilled on 21st November 2003 and matured for 18 years in a first-fill European Oak sherry butt (Cask No. 5982), this remarkable Speyside single malt offers a rich, sherried profile that showcases Tamdhu’s signature style. Bottled in a limited run of just 640 bottles, this release is a true collector’s item. Expect warm vanilla on the nose, followed by stewed apples, treacle glaze, and liquorice. The palate reveals layers of spiced fruit loaf, plum jam, and elegant dark chocolate, leading to a long, warming finish filled with dried fruits and soft spice — all underscored by deep sherry richness. An exceptional bottling that honours Tamdhu’s heritage and the passion of its loyal community.
