From the Strathearn Private Cask Club. Distilled 23/04/2014, aged in a US Virgin Oak Charred cask for 4 years, before being bottled on 24/04/2018.
Strathearn
Established in 2013 by Tony Reeman-Clark in a converted farm steading. Strathearn is one of Scotland’s smallest distilleries and sits in the Highland region, just north of Perth. Easily accessible, it has in recent times made its own single malt debut and offered many customers the opportunity to purchase their own casks. In 2019 the distillery was acquired by Douglas Laing & Co. in what was a surprising move, as their focus was on establishing their own Glasgow-based distillery. The stills are made and Portugal, Alembic in shape which gives the liquid a surprising heaviness and characteristic. A small-batch release via Douglas Laing offered a mix of oak and sherry casks bottled at 46%.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I bid on the auctions?
You’ll need an account with us to place bids in any auction. Registration takes 60 seconds and there’s a small £5.00 registration fee, payable by credit or debit card. Once paid, you will be registered and can place bids in the auction immediately. The registration fee helps us ensure you’re a real person and a genuine bidder.
Why does the timer extend on a lot?
In the interest of fairness, any bids placed in the final five minutes of a particular lot will extend the end time of that Lot by 15 minutes. We believe in giving our customers a fair amount of time to increase their bid should they wish. Last second sniping isn’t in the spirit of our auctions and by using this system there is no benefit to doing so.
