Storywood Tequila Speyside Cask Matured (3x5cls)

"Scotland made, Texas raised, chef by heart and a lover of oak-aged liquids." Michael Ballantyne is the founder of Storywood Tequila from originally from Scotland and brought up in Texas. In 2016 he started spending a lot of time in his Mother's home town of San Miguel De Allende, Mexico. Here he met Luis Trejo, Master Distiller. As a whisky lover Michael suggested aging Mexican spirits in whisky casks from the finest distilleries in Scotland. This led them to innovating in the production of aged Tequila finished in casks which previously held Scotch Whisky whereas the indusry standard for barrel aged Tequila and Mexcal is American ex-bourbon. This lot includes 3 different expressions;

• Reposado - Aged for at least 7 months in Speyside single malt whisky casks this tequila delivers a tantalizing two-sided tequila. (40% abv)
• Anejo - Born in Mexico and aged for at least 14 months in Speyside single malt whisky casks the adventurous multi award winning Anejo is a must try. (40% abv)
• Reposado Cask Strength - Bottled at cask strength, this rich Reposado packs a punch! Born in Mexico and raised over 7 months in Speyside whisky barrels. (53% abv)
