St Georges Distillery Inaugural Release

This Ibisco decanter, engraved with St. George & the Dragon, is one of a set of 6. At the time of bottling in 2009, each set was part of a limited edition release of the first Single Malt Whisky to be made by St George's Distillery and is almost certainly the first whisky to be matured in England and made available to the public in over 100 years. Distilled on the 26th November 2006, casked on the 5th December 2006 and bottled on the 9th December 2009 from bourbon casks. Individually numbered bottles from No.601 - 2694, so one of only 2094 individually numbered bottles.
