Spirit Of North Scotland 48 Years Old 1973

This spirit was taken from a 48-year-old cask, which dropped significantly in strength so it was decided to bottle it (although not as a ‘scotch’). At 25.0% it makes for a perfect ‘every day’ dram and is a single grain bottling. North of Scotland was a family-run Distillery that produced both Malt and Grain Whisky. It is now closed having been active from 1957- 1980, making this an extremely exclusive bottling. Their product went into many famous blends such as Chivas Regal, Ballantine’s, and Teachers.
