Speyside (Drumguish)
Located on the outskirts of Kinguissie, you’d believe that the Speyside distillery has been here for generations. However, looks are deceiving as it was only founded in 1990. The roots of the distillery go back to 1956 when the land was purchased by George Christie to create a whisky distillery. These things take time and it wasn’t until the tail end of 1990 that the first spirit flowed and the debut whisky, called Drumguish, was bottled. Since then, the whisky has been bottled under the Spey name and has found a home in Taiwan and Asia. Aided by a variety of age statements and inventive cask use, the Speyside distillery is of modest size but is punching above its weight internationally.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I bid on the auctions?
You’ll need an account with us to place bids in any auction. Registration takes 60 seconds and there’s a small £5.00 registration fee, payable by credit or debit card. Once paid, you will be registered and can place bids in the auction immediately. The registration fee helps us ensure you’re a real person and a genuine bidder.
Why does the timer extend on a lot?
In the interest of fairness, any bids placed in the final five minutes of a particular lot will extend the end time of that Lot by 15 minutes. We believe in giving our customers a fair amount of time to increase their bid should they wish. Last second sniping isn’t in the spirit of our auctions and by using this system there is no benefit to doing so.
