'Sourced, a Wee Dram' is a coffee table book which contains stunning pictures of all of Scotland's whisky distilleries. Each of the distillery images in this lavish book is accompanied by an anecdote associated with the brand, the location or an event which happened around the same time as the distillery was founded. There is historical information, a map showing the location of each distillery, plenty of facts and 144 pages containing spectacular shots of every whisky distillery in Scotland. The pages are printed on top quality art paper with a hard bound laminated cover. It is the second book by professional photographer James Mortimer, who previously ran a business in Aberdeen city centre for over twenty years called Phiz Photography. He acquired several blue chip clients and established a reputation for cityscapes, many of which are displayed in Aberdeen's civic buildings and on street furniture style tourist advice boards situated throughout the city.
Around ten years ago he closed his studio business to pursue other interests which include taking landscape photographs throughout Scotland. His stated ambitions when setting out on a photo shoot are to capture our stunning country in a unique way wherever possible but also to show the beautiful results of our presence on the landscape whenever he can. James believes there are excellent photographers based in Scotland whose pictures of the hills and glens would be impossible to better, so he has tried to show the influence that we have had on the landscape, especially how the many buildings and man-made topography enhance our appreciation of our surroundings. This interest has led him to take photographs of Scotland's whisky distilleries, resulting in this coffee table book. Each page contains a high dynamic range picture, giving outstanding and dramatic detail. James' landscape collections can be viewed at www.jamesmortimerphotography.com

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I bid on the auctions?
You’ll need an account with us to place bids in any auction. Registration takes 60 seconds and there’s a small £5.00 registration fee, payable by credit or debit card. Once paid, you will be registered and can place bids in the auction immediately. The registration fee helps us ensure you’re a real person and a genuine bidder.
Why does the timer extend on a lot?
In the interest of fairness, any bids placed in the final five minutes of a particular lot will extend the end time of that Lot by 15 minutes. We believe in giving our customers a fair amount of time to increase their bid should they wish. Last second sniping isn’t in the spirit of our auctions and by using this system there is no benefit to doing so.
