World Symphony Series - Edition No.2 & No.3
Lot #1080055
FINISH DATE
30 November 2022
This lot contains the second and third editions of the World Symphony Series, which was exclusively released by Shizuoka Distillery for the International Connoisseur Society of Taiwan.
Edition No.2, titled 'The Unparalleled', was distilled on the 24th of October 2018 and then matured in an ex-bourbon cask before being bottled in 2022 at 50% ABV yielding only 280 bottles. This whisky's label design and powerful flavour pay homage to the famous Chinese war general Han-Shing, who was honoured with the same title for his incomparable achievements. This whisky is non-peated.
Edition No.3, titled 'The Infinity', was distilled on the 12th of December 2018 and matured in an ex-bourbon cask before being bottled in 2022 at 50.3% yielding 151 bottles. This whisky pays tribute to an important concept in China's intellectual history where 'the infinity' is considered to be the beginning of all things. This edition is peated.
Both bottlings are private cask bottling for Joseph Wang, who is an executive member of the ICS.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I bid on the auctions?
You’ll need an account with us to place bids in any auction. Registration takes 60 seconds and there’s a small £5.00 registration fee, payable by credit or debit card. Once paid, you will be registered and can place bids in the auction immediately. The registration fee helps us ensure you’re a real person and a genuine bidder.
Why does the timer extend on a lot?
In the interest of fairness, any bids placed in the final five minutes of a particular lot will extend the end time of that Lot by 15 minutes. We believe in giving our customers a fair amount of time to increase their bid should they wish. Last second sniping isn’t in the spirit of our auctions and by using this system there is no benefit to doing so.
