Shizuoka 2018 "The Unparalleled"

This is the second edition of the World Symphony Series exclusively released for the International Connoisseur Society of Taiwan by Shizuoka Distillery. Distilled on the 24th October 2018 then matured in an ex-bourbon cask before being bottled in in 2022 yielding only 280 bottles. This edition is called “The Unparalled” and the design is inspired by the famous war general Han-Shing, who is strong in strategy as well as physical strength, who helped the first emperor of the Han dynasty in ancient China to unify all of China and to start his reign. Thus, he was honored with the title “The Unparalleled” for his many incomparable achievements. This whisky's powerful flavour, which is suggested to be incomparable, pays homage to the General.
