About this bottle
A special 10 year old pure malt which has been finished in wine casks.
Mars Shinshu is actually Hombo Shuzo's third domestic distillery and a notable member of the small collection of indie distilleries still found across Japan. In order, the company's three plants have been the Yamanashi Distillery (1960-1969), the Mars Kagoshima Distillery (1978-1984) and the current Mars Shinshu Distillery (1985-1992 and 2011-present).
