Redbreast 12 Years Old (70° Proof)

A late 1960's / early 1970's bottling of 12-year-old Redbreast Irish whiskey, distilled at the Jameson distillery on Bow Street, Dublin which closed in 1971 after Irish Distillers chose to close all distilleries in Dublin to consolidate production at the new Midleton Distillery in Cork. Bottled and bonded by Gilbeys, which ceased production of Redbreast in 1985 and in 1986 entered into an agreement to sell the brand to Irish Distillers.
