Puni Italian Single Malt Whisky
The Puni distillery was established by the Ebensperger family in 2012. Built from red brick, this intricate pattern has created a cube-shaped distillery situated near the Alps and the town of Glorenza. The name comes from the river which the distillery uses as its water source and work started in 2010 to build the distinctive building. It took 2 years for the distillery to be completed and the first spirit to flow from the stills. And just 3 years later, the inaugural releases debuted in the form of Puni Alba and Puni Nova, which showcased a variety of cask types. The team uses malt barley sourced from Bavarian and Italy, with peated malt also being utilised. Today, the range of whiskies has grown to include a series of limited editions and a core range, each housed within the eye-catching Puni bottle style which is as radical visually as the distillery itself.
