About this bottle
"Leviathan"
Port Charlotte, heavily peated spirit, distilled on the 5th of July 2001 at the Bruichladdich distillery, Islay. This was some of the very earliest spirit produced at the distillery following its dismantling and rebuil, supervised by Master Distiller Jim McEwan. Matured in a single 1st fill ex-bourbon barrel for 20 years before being bottled in 2022 by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society UK. One of only 176 bottles at cask strength, without colouring or chill-filtration.
