Pillage 12 Years Old

In the summer of 2005, crews from all Islay Distilleries, Jura and Bushmills visited all the distilleries by boat over a three day period and pillaged 40 litres of 12-year-old malt from each. The Pillaged Malt was decanted into a cask which was warehoused in Lagavulin Distillery, to marry until March 2006. It was then bottled at Bruichladdich distillery on the 27/02/2006. This bottle was released to help raise money for the Children's Hospice Association Scotland & Northern Ireland Hospice. Signed by Kevin Campbell & Marjory Orr, Lagavulin fundraisers.
