About this bottle
An 18-year-old island single malt from an undisclosed distillery on Orkney that has been matured in a single hogshead, before being bottled in 2019 as part of the Whisky Trail Retro Birds series from Elixir Distillers.
' Aromas of saltwater spray and smouldering heather fires fill the nose, alongside lemon-lime soda, honey and white wine. The palate offers vibrant notes of tart fruits, liquorice, lemonade, green grapes, rhubarb and custard, as well as leafy herbs, fennel seeds and celery.'
